The Patented Air Powered Plenum Box is a tapered pressurized enclosure mounted directly underneath the play surface. The purpose of this chamber is to maintain even positive air pressure as it circulates through the air chamber. Because of the tapered design, air is forced outward toward the edges of the table and upward through the play surface, rather than only upward through the play surface as you may see with other manufacturer s products.
